I couldn't say for absolute certain without reading it though. In folklore, the witching hour was when demons, sorcerers and other wicked beings were at their most powerful. It was also the time of day when Black Magic was most successful. I personally imagine the witching hour to be a time when the boundaries of one world and another are weak. Since your story is about the Black Dark, the Witching Hour would probably be when the veil between the world of the living and the Black Dark is at its thinnest. I can't help but think the knowledge this family has is they have someone either from the Dark Black, or has been there and back without dying, Since she uses the word Harboring. However Harboring would be awful in a title so I used Sanctuary and knowledge but if it is about after death I thinking it is more truth they hold then just knowledge.
