My husband is a masterful story teller whether written or verbal, but he also suffers from social anxiety disorder and manic depression. I have been trying to encourage him for the better part of 18 years to write a book or even a collection of short stories. At the moment he only writes short stories, he wants very much to be a published writer, but he is terrified of the thought of actually having to talk to people about it. He has a problem with the thought of trying to go to writers conferences as well as he gets panic attacks in a room with more then four people in it. Is there any advice you could give him, or me to help him with this?
