Does sound interesting. :) The one I'm 'trying to wite' has an angel but no demon. Anyways, I was wondering where I could send my sentence summary to so it could be critiqued by Randy too. This is my first time to post but I've been reading a lot about the snowflake method and the critiques of Randy on the previous sentence descriptions posted. Thanks :)

Randy sez: We'll be returning to a discussion of one-sentence summaries at some point in the future. That will be the best time to post yours.

Wow! I just read the first few pages of Demon on Amazon--and ordered it. You can't "look inside" yet on Havah, but if it's written as well as Demon, I've got to have it as well. Thanks for the interview, Randy. Lots of luck on sales and your next project, Tosca!

Tosca Lee is one of the premiere writers of our day, bar none. High concept spiritual novels, elegantly written, fascinating, and entertaining.

Bravo, Tosca. Can't wait to savor Havah.

I have a love affair with the state of Nebraska. Tosca has given me yet another reason to love the Cornhuskers state. I'm reading Havah right now. If anybody feared Tosca would be a one hit wonder, those ideas will be dispelled quickly. I'm so jazzed Tosca is writing for the Lord. With her talent she could easily earn more fame and fortune in the secular marketplace. I can't wait to see where the Lord leads her next.
Thanks Randy for a fascinating interview.

Great interview, Randy. I especially liked the mention of Tosca's editor asking her to change from complete narrative to pro/antagonist and how it energized, not to mention, sold her book. It's related somewhat to POV, and since you've been taking such great opportunity to remind us continually about POV, I've paid more attention to it in my reading. I'm in a kid's book now (because I want to write them)that flits within scene from one POV to another and it's annoying. The POVs even include omniscient 3rd. This book is a Newbery Award winner, so I was surprised by the sloppiness. However, I am seeing things differently since I started participating in this blog, and I know my writing has improved. Thank you, Randy. And thank you, Tosca, for sharing your journey with us. Congratulations.

Thanks for the fascinating interview, Randy and Tosca. I have Demon, can't wait to read Havah. I'm hoping the kids noted my amazon wish list hints and got it for me for Christmas. :)

Great interview ~ and I hope we all took note of the part where the editors suggested a change and Tosca actually listened and did it. There's a lesson in there and one we've all heard before, I think. Be teachable and willing to listen to an editor's advice. Especially when it will strengthen your book.

I'll be adding Tosca's books to my last minute Christmas wish list. :)

As for the new idea? Go for it, Tosca!
