In reference to Randy's answer to Karla: I've heard that "real" physicists show up at conferences wearing wigs and skirts. What's your take on that?

Hey, thanks for that info, Randy! I'm not sophisticated enough in web design to have figured that out, but I definitely want my title bar to show up when people find the super-article (which I'm still working on)! But I do like the way frames handles my graphics, and also how it makes the important stuff stay in the middle during re-sizing, so I'll probably just combine the two center frames into a table and put that in one page / frame.
I have been learning more about table background graphics and I think I can make it work if I set the pixels in the jpeg to exactly the right height and depth.

Also, thanx for the speaking stuff you did a while back. Just finished a weekend at a renaissance seminar and sold more books at one go than I ever have! Plus four more possible bookings. Gee, this really works. (It was fun, too.)

Hi Randy,
I use homestead www.dianabrandmeyer.com for my writing site and blogger for my blog. I've been using homestead for several years and have found it to work well for me. I also use it for our business site. It's easy to make changes, add your own graphics and extra pages. What I haven't figured out how to do is put my blog on that site, so what gets updated the most is my pencildancer blog. Hope that helps.

I have a quick question before we totally leave the website topic. How do you know which ending to use? For example: .com .net .info

My husband thought .info was best for my site because it's not a commercial site.

My site also uses frames. It's my first site and I built it with help from my DH. I think it works for now, but am hoping to do something different in the future as I get more books published.

Yes, back to fiction writing! :)

As a professional website designer I'm very much aware of all the things that have been said over the past few weeks, but I figured since a lot of authors would want to know this kind of stuff I kept silent.

But to be honest, I think enough has been said about that subject. No offense intended :)

So, I'm happy we'll be back on the subject of fiction writing!

In that regard, I have a question:

Currently I'm immensely busy at the office. I come home and there's tons of stuff to do before I can even sit down and take a moment. Then, tired from a hard days work, I like to just relax for a while and "space out" (I think the expression is). Then all of a sudden, it's time to go to bed. Lately I find no time to write. How do I make this work? My fingers are aching, itching to go back to work, but I'm just too tired when I get home to focus.

Help me, Obi-Wan Randy. You're my only hope.
