I’ll tune in again tomorrow with some comments on how I organize my novels on my hard drive so I always know where everything is and can always retrieve it.

Happy Anniversary & Congratulations on 25 years! What a wonderful accomplishment! Those of us who’ve reached (or nearly, one more year for 25 here) that kind of time in marriage can appreciate what it stands for. What a blessing, and what a rewarding friendship it becomes in that kind of time.

    Hey, we’re writers, aren’t we?
(or at least, the rest of YOU are) Let’s see if we can come up with some well-crafted poetry written especially for Randy & Mrs. Randy. We’ll let him or HER pick the best. Whataya say?

    Ode To Lasting Love

Marriage takes a love that’s patient
Through late nights with crazy agents

Marriage takes a love that’s kind
The kids are good? They’re yours, not mine

It does not envy, it wouldn’t brag
    Even when the novel drags

It isn’t selfish, is always polite
Though keyboard sounds all through the night

It angers slowly, forgets all wrong
    Even when Harry Potter’s on

    Love protects, believes the best
    Even goes against the rest

It always hopes, and carries on
Re-ignites when the kids are gone

    Love never fails

There once was a man called Randy.
He showered his love with candy
And diamonds and firs, anniversary was theirs.
By all measure it was a dandy.

I wish for you as many happy years as my husband and I have had, which is 43. And they all have been happy. There have been ups and downs as all marriages have but we have been truly happy. Having a spouse who is also a best friend and who puts God first in al things is a blessing and key to a happy and successful marriage. I wish for you and your wife the same blessings.

Well, I am a little late. But, I would like to add my congratulations to the rest of them. Charlie and I are looking forward to the 42nd year together. There have been some up and downs, but I must say not just because Charlie could read this, we are fully involved in a up period. I think as we get more understanding of what we are, and learn more about ourselves the better the marriage is. So with that in mind, I wish you both many more years together to discover each other, and your own personal space.

    Happy (late) Anniversary!!!!!!

    Carly
