Thank you so much, Randy.

It's great to have a writer with credibility comment on your work. Even though I'm the author I am not sure that I could've gotten as much out of that sample regarding how it was constructed.

Reading your other critiques is invaluable as it allows us to see exactly what you're explaining.

Thank you for sharing your time with us, we really appreciate it!

The fragment is from a science fiction short story titled, "Profit Master". Written over twenty years ago, it remains my favourite completed piece of work.

Looking forward to the next post, Mark.

I'm writing fantasy, too, and was real happy to read your comment on internal dialog. I will remember to keep it short!

Great e-zine, again! But now I'm wondering who your flesh-and-blood critquers are. Our group, The Redeemed Writers, sends our samples out electronically ahead of time so we can get a thorough critque, but then we meet in person. The best of both worlds!

Don't have much to add except I'm also enjoying and learning from these critiques. Once again I thank all the submitters, and you, Randy, for taking the time.
